Neglected lamps must be taken apart to clean, which is a time intensive process. Fortunately, there is an easier way to clean a lamp if you are willing to do it regularly. Routinely and polishing glasses and hardware, you can keep your bright and clean lamp.
Mix 1 part of isopropyl alcohol, 3 parts water. Pour the solution into a spray bottle. Turn off the circuit breaker that provides power to the mercury glass table lamps. Plug a lamp or other light source in a power switch and put it into another room where hanging or table lamp, using an extension cord if necessary. Remove any screw bulbs in the chandelier.
