Double Curtain Rods – Double curtain rods are a suspension system of curtains and drapes that lets you hang multilayer panels or valances. The system typically includes two mounting brackets and two curtain rods. The supports are installed on each side of the window. Curtains or drapes are hung on a bar first low profile internal support pins on the bracket. Curtains or a valance are supported by the second bar, which has an internal rod that wider profile. Installation of the double bar on a concrete wall requires special wall anchors concrete and mortar.
To hanging double curtain rods in concrete first measure and mark the wall on each side of the window where you are installing the mounting brackets. Place the mounting bracket to the left on the left side of the window. Pass the tip of a pencil through each screw hole in the bracket to mark the positions of screw holes on the wall. Select a little mortar carbide tipped drill holes for the right size for your wall anchors. Install the bit in the drill. Drill horizontal holes through each screw whole mark on the wall. Insert the tip of a wall anchor in the first hole. Manually push the anchor into the hole, as far as possible.

Place the mounting bracket double curtain rods to the left on the left side of the window. Align the screw holes of the bracket with the holes in the wall anchors. Attach the mounting bracket to the anchors with screws and a screwdriver. Pass the upper housings panels curtains or sheers on the inside rod to be installed closer to the window. Hang the rod on the inside of the mounting pegs. Evenly distribute the curtain panels through the rod.
Double Curtain Rods Installations
Double curtain rods are simply two bars, one before the other, on a support. Some double bars will have a closer look at the wall, which is intended to keep voile curtains or light smaller bar. The front bar is thicker and is ideal for heavy fabric. Double curtain rods make faster installation, since there are only two brackets to install instead of four.
To install double curtain rods Place bracket curtain 2 inches beyond the window frame and 4 higher than the inch frame. Hold the bracket against the wall and mark the holes with a pencil. Drill holes in the pencil marks. Holes are needed particularly when mounted on a pole.
Align the bracket double curtain rods with the pilot holes and screw to the wall with a screwdriver and screws that come with the package. Select the correct screwdriver for the screws, or a head or Phillips head. Insert the second bracket to the opposite side of the window frame using the same measures and steps as the first support. Place curtains on rods and bars to the brackets. Fix the curtains to create a uniform flow fabric.
