Installing LED Landscape Lighting

Jul 15th

LED landscape lighting – Landscape lighting enhances safety and security of your home, improves the appearance of your yard, and can even increase the value of your property. Install your transformer. If it will be located outside, it should be at least one foot from the ground. It is easiest to mount it on the wall of your house. Run the cable to the transformer, then use wire strippers to strip about half an inch of insulation.

Attach the stripped wires according to the instructions that came with your transformer. Lay out your LED landscape lighting in places you planned. Adjust as necessary for the lighting effects you want to achieve. Lay out all your cable for each match. Leave a small loop of slack cable on each light for attaching it. Cover your cable with decorative stones or mulch or hide it under the foliage.
